Surveys and NPS
Ask a short question at the right moment, and follow up when the answer calls for it.
The editor
| Section | What you set |
|---|---|
| Basics | The name, the Pages it may appear on, how it appears, and a delay. |
| Questions | The questions, their answers and follow-ups. Up to 12. |
| Thank-you & style | The closing message, colors and corner radius. |
| Frequency & priority | How often people are asked, and what shows first. |
| Audience | Ask only the people who match. |
| Translations | The survey's text in other languages. |
Display is either a slide-out in a corner, where visitors can keep working, or a modal in the middle that dims the page until they answer or close it. Both count toward the workspace's interruption limits. Delay before showing waits that many seconds on the page first.
Questions
| Type | What people do |
|---|---|
| NPS (0–10) | Say how likely they are to recommend you. The score behind your NPS. |
| Rating (1–5 stars) | A quick star rating. |
| Single choice | Pick one answer from a list. |
| Multiple choice | Pick any number of answers. |
| Text answer | Write in their own words. |
People answer one question at a time, in order. An NPS or rating question can lead to a follow-up that's only asked when the score is low, such as "What's missing for you?" after a score below 7.
Keep it to one or two questions. Every extra question costs answers.
