Banners
A message placed on the page, or a modal that dims it.
Use a banner for something everyone on a page should notice: a maintenance window, a new feature, a renewal reminder.

Good to know
- A banner's button closes the banner. It can't open a page or start a tour. For a button that takes people somewhere, publish an announcement with Feed, and a banner on publish instead.
- With a backdrop, a banner dims the page like a pop-up and counts toward the workspace's interruption limits. Without one, it doesn't.
- To stop a banner, unpublish it from the Publish menu. A schedule sets when it starts, not when it ends.
