Work with Claude or ChatGPT

Let an AI assistant build, check and preview guidance in your workspace, in plain language.

You can connect Cueston to an AI assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code. Then you ask for what you want in your own words:

  • "Announce the new scheduled reports feature: a What's new post and a tooltip on the Schedule button."
  • "Build a five-step tour of the invoice flow for new admins and send me a preview link."
  • "Which tours broke after last week's release? Repoint them and show me before you publish."
  • "How did the onboarding checklist do in the last 30 days?"

The assistant uses Cueston's tools to do the work: it looks at your pages, creates drafts, checks them and sends you a preview.

Connect it

  1. In Cueston, open Settings → Integrations → AI agents (MCP) and copy the Server URL.
  2. In your assistant, add a custom connector with that URL. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors.
  3. Your assistant opens Cueston: sign in, pick the workspace and choose what it may do.

The exact steps for each app are in the developer guide.

Your first request

Once it's connected, paste this into the chat:

Paste into Claude or ChatGPT
Use the Cueston tools.

1. Look at my workspace, the pages Cueston knows
and the guidance that's already live.
2. Suggest three pieces of guidance that would help
new users most, and say why.
3. Build the first one as a draft, with selectors
you've checked on the real page.
4. Validate it and send me a preview link.
Don't publish until I say so.

You get a preview link that shows the draft on your own site.

What it can do

When you connect, you choose one level:

LevelThe assistant may
ReadSee your guidance, analytics and survey results.
Create and edit draftsAlso create, edit and delete drafts. Nothing goes live.
Edit and publishAlso publish, unpublish and approve review requests.

It can never do more than you can, and never touches your team, billing, security or keys.

Stay in control

  • Everything it builds is a draft until someone publishes it, and your approval rules still apply.
  • Every action is in the Audit log, labelled with the app's name.
  • See and disconnect connected apps in Settings → Integrations → Connected apps.
