Banners

A notice on the page, such as planned maintenance or a trial that's ending.

A banner shows a short message on matching pages: a title, one sentence and a button. Place it at the top, center or bottom of the page, and on the left, center or right. It can have a backdrop that dims the page behind it.

A banner's button only dismisses it. For a banner that takes people somewhere (a page, a tour), create an announcement shown as a banner, with a call to action.

Build one

  1. Set the URL pattern.
  2. Write the title, the body and the button text, like "Got it".
  3. Pick the position and, if you want, a backdrop and a delay before it appears.
  4. Target the audience, for example people whose plan is trial. Set the frequency and an optional schedule.
  5. Preview and publish.

Banners with a backdrop count toward the workspace's pop-up limits; plain banners don't.
