Announcements
Product news for the "What's new" feed, or shown as a banner or modal when it goes live.
An announcement is a short post about what changed: a title, a body with simple formatting (bold, italic, links, lists), up to five labels such as "New" or "Improved", and an optional call to action.
Where it shows

The publish date is when it appears. Nobody sees it before then, in the feed or anywhere else.
Call to action
Give it a button label and an action: open a URL or start a tour. This is the way to make a banner that takes people somewhere; a plain banner's button only closes it.
